The DJ Company of San Diego provides DJs and MCs for weddings, quinceañeras, private parties, school dances and corporate events across San Diego and Southern California, and its DJ/MCs have been doing it for more than 20 years. The new site leads with the company’s own line, “Good people. Great parties.”, and is built to take a couple or an event planner from a first look to a booked consultation.

The challenge
People choosing an event DJ decide quickly, usually on a phone. They want to feel the energy of the parties, read what other clients say, and find out whether their date is free. The company’s previous site no longer loaded securely, and its photos, commercial and testimonials were scattered across old pages.
Show the energy of a real party, put genuine reviews up front, and make checking a date or booking a call one tap away from every page.
What we built
We built a fast, high-contrast site in the company’s black, white and yellow, with scroll-driven motion: an animated opening, a pinned hero that turns into an editorial frame, a horizontal rail of event types and an expanding film. A reviews page brings together the company’s Google and Thumbtack ratings and earlier testimonials. The inquiry form emails the company and sends the visitor a confirmation, and a consultation calendar is built into the booking page.
The details that mattered.
Every review on the site is a real one from Google, Thumbtack or the company’s earlier testimonials page. Photos and the commercial were recovered from the old website, and higher-resolution originals will replace them as they come in.
