Questions people actually ask us.
Straight answers about cost, timing, ownership and what it is like to work with a small studio. If yours is not here, ask it.
Mostly owner-run businesses: home services and contractors, restaurants, fitness studios, retailers, professional practices. If your business depends on calls, bookings, quotes or inquiries, there is usually something worth building.
No. You need to know how your business runs and where it hurts. We handle the technology and explain our choices in plain English.
It depends on scope. A focused website or a single automation is a matter of weeks rather than months. Larger software projects get a timeline in the proposal, before you commit to anything.
Every project is quoted in writing before any work starts. Websites can start on our website plan: $0 upfront for the build and $99 a month for hosting and maintenance. Automation, AI and custom software are quoted individually, because they vary too much for a price list to be honest.
Yes. Hosting, maintenance and fixes are part of what we do, and you deal with the person who built your system. Larger changes are scoped and quoted first.
Usually. Most modern CRMs, calendars, phone systems, payment tools and booking platforms can be connected. Where a tool has no way in, we will tell you and suggest a workaround.
No. Astel is a small, founder-led studio. Luke Squillante designs and builds the projects himself, which means the person you talk to is the person doing the work.
Modern voice AI sounds natural in ordinary conversation, and we write its script around your services and the way you talk to customers. It can hand a call to a person whenever you want it to. The best way to judge is to hear one, so ask us for a demonstration.
We monitor the systems we run and fix problems when they appear. If something we built depends on another company’s software and that software changes, we adapt it.
Your domain, your content and the accounts in your name are yours. Ownership of anything we build is written into the agreement for your project, so there is no ambiguity later.
Yes, and it is often the smart way to begin. A single automation, such as instant replies to new inquiries, shows you how we work before you commit to anything bigger.
We agree up front what should change: calls answered, inquiries replied to, hours not spent on admin. Then we check those numbers with you after launch.
Yes. We have built a job platform, an online store with its own admin area, and an iOS app, alongside websites. If off-the-shelf software does not fit how you work, we can build what does.
