A+ Plus Detroit sells, buys and trades sneakers, and runs a program that rewards students for their report cards. The site is both the storefront and the explanation of the mission behind it.

The challenge
The founder has been in the sneaker business for decades and wanted an online home that did two jobs at once: sell shoes, and explain a community program for Detroit young people and their families.
Build a real store with stock, sizes and ordering, give the program equal weight, and let the owner run it all without a developer.
What we built
A custom online store with a product catalog, per-size stock, a cart and checkout, and a trade-in submission flow. Behind it is an admin area where the owner manages orders, products, photos, trade-ins, messages and site settings. The report card program and mission have their own pages.
The details that mattered.
Stock is taken at the moment an order is placed, so two customers cannot buy the same last pair. The store was built as custom software rather than on a hosted platform so the trade-in and program features could sit alongside ordinary shopping.
